Hello,

My name is Dorothy and I'm looking forward to helping students achieve their full potential in the classroom.

I recently graduated from Simmons College with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. I have demonstrated excellent writing skills in my academic program and am currently putting those skills to use in a legal internship. I have experience with editing, research, and teaching critical thinking skills.

Through working in Boston public high schools--as part of a work/study program to help young girls succeed in school--I've discovered that each student is different and is willing to receive help in different ways. I'm willing to meet the student where they are and to formulate a goal and plan in order to help them succeed. I also truly enjoy teaching individuals to communicate well in their writing and academic work.

I recently graduated from Simmons College with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. Sociology is the study of the social processes which contribute to racial, gendered, and socioeconomic inequalities. This approach to studying society is typically intersectional, meaning race is studied with class and gender in consideration. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
