Hello! My name is Marlee and I am a recent graduate from Boston University with a B. A. in Physics with a Music Concentration. I also have a minor in Spanish. I speak Spanish fluently and have family in Colombia and the Dominican Republic. I have TESOL certification as well and am certified to teach ESL as well.
I love teaching and am currently teaching in a before school music school and working on my Suzuki violin certification. (I am a violinist). I am also currently working part-time teaching English. My strengths for tutoring are PHYSICS (middle/high school, AP, beginning level college physics), MATH (any early level up to the third year of calculus (multivariate), MUSIC (music history, general music and basic theory, violin, sight-singing, note reading), ESL/ENGLISH (I have experience teaching all ages and levels and have a lot of good textbooks!), and SPANISH (opportunities for immersion as well!)

Violin

I have played and studied violin for the past 14 years. I studied Music in College in addition to Physics. I currently teach violin, viola and cello at Josiah Quincy School Orchestra Program on weekdays. I have had over 8 years of experience teaching private lessons and coaching chamber music ensembles through the Hampton Roads Chamber Players and Traveling Notes International Youth Orchestra.
