I am a current senior at Boston University as a Computer Engineering Major. I went to Notre Dame Academy in Hingham for high school and have a strong background in math. In my first two year at BU, I have taken Calculus I and II, Multivariate Calculus, Differential Equations, linear algebra, probability, Physics, General Chemistry I and II, Organic Chemistry I and II and multiple engineering courses, including Matlab programming. During my junior year I took more major specific classes consisting of Logic Desing, Electronics, C and Cplusplus and Signals and Systems. Math and science are the subjects in which I am most comfortable and enjoy as well.
I do not have a specific tutoring style, I try to adhere to the student's best method of learning. I do strongly believe that one of the best ways to learn is through doing as many examples as possible. Starting with simple and moving through complex problems, the students will be able to not only become more comfortable with the material but also end up learning and teaching themselves. I do not work out problems for the student and expect he or she to understand completely. I prefer lead them in the right direction and guide them along the way but allow the student primarily do the work.
