Hello Everyone,
My name is Brandon and I am in my second year at Bridgewater State University as a Chemistry Major.
I have taken, and received A's, in General Chemistry 1 and 2, Organic Chemistry 1, and Calculus 1. I have also taken, and did well in, Physics 1 and Calculus 2. I am a Learning Assistant at Bridgewater State University, and as a result of that, have had training workshops on how to not only be an effective personal tutor, but also how to tutor effectively in small groups, of up to 5 people. I can also assist with SAT prep, and other tests such as the MCAS.
Most of my tutoring style comes from the workshops I have had. I prefer to sit with a student while they do a worksheet, so that I can see for myself where they begin running in to problems so that I can more accurately determine where they are going wrong and why, all in an effort to help correct their problems and help them become the best student they can be.
I can adapt to many different learning styles, and in my experience as a tutor, have helped many students with learning disabilities achieve their academic goals.
