I enjoy working with middle and high school students and I have been successful in reaching and motivating them. I am patient, respectful and aware of individual student needs. I have experience as an MCAS tutor and as a home tutor for high school students in several subjects. I have a M.Ed. in Special Education and I am MA licensed to teach English in grades 5-12, and Special Education in grades PreK-12.

My current position as an English Teacher and Special Educator in a therapeutic high school has provided me with significant experience and inspired me to further my work with adolescents. I have a M.Ed in Special Education and have worked with students who require assistance with study skills for the past five years. I worked in a middle school learning center where the focus was helping students organize and complete assignments independently so they could continue in general education classes as they entered high school.

ADD/ADHD

I have a M.Ed in Special Education and I have worked with students with ADD/ADHD for the past five years. My experience has been with students from grades four through twelve. I have worked in a middle school learning center where the focus was helping students use strategies to get organized and be successful in general education classrooms. I have found creative ways to teach and work with students who have difficulty staying focused.

The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
