I am a very animated fun-filled, and skillful instructor. I implement the most advanced teaching methodoligies available incorporating advance applicatons of neuroscience. The evironment I create is interactive, engaging, and promotes enthusiasm to reach new límits. My students have always finished my course wanting to get to the next level. I am certified in Deaf Studies and received that aspect of my education from Bristol Community College. I received my BEd from St. Petersburg State University, cumma sum laude. I am also certified inTESOL and ASL from CIE, The Canadian Institute of English. I have tutored now free-lance for the past 10 yrs. I taught ASL at Sandwich Community School for 4 yrs. During my tenure at SCSlearning, I had an open contract with Cape Cod Community College as an ASL instructor. I was an instructor at a Deaf church in Cranston, RI seven yrs., and was actively engaged in another religious Deaf church in New Bedford for 5 yrs. In addition to my formal teaching discipline, I have been actively involved in the Deaf community for twelve years volunteering my time to assist the deaf to improve their quality of life as both members of the Deaf community and as integrated neighbors with the hearing population. I have often acted as a liaison and advocate for many.
