Hello Everybody!
There is nothing I believe in more than education and the ability of all students to learn. I formulate my instruction to allow students to think for themselves and learn how to think rather than just learn the answers. I believe that there is no such thing as a stupid question and aim to make my students feel confident to ask when they don't understand something. I prefer not to lecture to people, instead to ask them a friendly series of questions to help them arrive at the answer themselves. This is more rewarding for the student and helps them to develop their own thought processes which are essential to being able to solve problems on their own.

I am a certified Social Studies teacher who specializes in History. I have the most experience with US History but I am comfortable and well versed in all other Social Sciences. In addition, I am a great lover of literature and would love to reach younger learners in all areas of education as well. I deeply enjoy learning and working with students. In my capacity as a classroom teacher I was nominated for Teacher of Year this last year.
