Why I enjoy tutoring:
I truly enjoy working with different age groups. I am specifically drawn to tutoring because early on in my academic career, I recognized that I had a different learning style. Overtime I became obsessed with learning to help other people discover their learning needs & master their learning abilities!
I am currently working as full-time tutor at Match Charter Public High School in Boston where I tutor students in algebra, geometry, physics and AP chemistry. Post-graduation, I have gained experience working with students with learning disabilities ranging from ADHD to memory-impairment. At UPenn, I tutored high school students in Infectious Diseases & biology. In high school, I worked for Peer2Peer Tutors - a professional tutoring company where I tutored elementary school students in all subjects.
As a pre-med student in college, I became very strong in organic & general chemistry, introductory and evolutionary biology, biochemistry and physics. As a Health & Societies major, I also became well-versed in courses related to anthropology, sociology, public health & disease & society related courses. I was a member of my high school's National Honors Society & French Honors Society.
