My name is Cody F. and I love tutoring, especially in math and science. I graduated from The Gatton Academy of Math and Science at Western Kentucky University, named the number one public high school in the nation by Newsweek. While there I took extensive college coursework in math, physics, chemistry, biology, and the humanities while also completing my high school education. After graduating I began my undergraduate education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, recently ranked by US News as the number one university in the country. At MIT I am pursuing a degree in computer science.
During this time I have acquired great experience in tutoring and teaching. I have a total of 6 years of experience tutoring mathematics, particularly calculus. I also have 4 years of experience tutoring in the sciences, such as biology, chemistry, and physics. My experience has come in the form of private, one-on-one tutoring with students ranging in ages from 7th grade through adult learners, college-level review courses, and even teaching SAT prep courses.
My students find me very relatable, and I've heard from several students that having someone close to their own age work with them has been really beneficial to their learning. I look forward to working with you in the future! Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you might have!
