Hello! My name is Rebecca, and I am a graduate of Northeastern University. My tutoring experience ranges from assisting elementary school children in subjects as math and writing as well as tutoring adults who are preparing for the math portion of the GED exam. I am a kind, caring individual and tailor my tutoring methodologies to the student's learning styles. For many visual learners, I find that illustrations, flash cards, maps or diagrams are helpful in mastering the material. However, the style in which I teach can be adjusted by the needs of the student. After I teach a concept, I make up quizzes to test the students' knowledge.
I also have experience editing papers and correcting grammar.
