I am proficient in teaching in any type of biology related materials. I have taught since I was in undergrad, and my students have generally done much better and some even went on to medical school. I usually teach high school AP classes or college students. My rate is negotiable, but generally, due to the amount of outside preparation work I have to do for my students like making test questions, I incorporate the cost into my hourly wage. Biology is like another language, and every student learns differently, so I try to incorporate many different ways to memorize and understand the material. It's a subject that is a little bit different from other subjects because understanding the material plays a huge role, but of course, the student needs to put effort into memorizing the material as well.
