I am a student at the Harvard Graduate School of Design pursuing a Master of Architecture. Previously, I received a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from MIT, a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
I enjoy learning and the opportunity to share any knowledge I have learned along the way. I am not a tutor with a set curriculum; I hope to craft curriculum around the questions of an individual student.
As is often said, "Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime." This is what I believe about tutoring. It is not an opportunity to complete a student's assignments for him/her, but rather an opportunity to teach the skills that will have benefits far exceeding the completion of a single assignment.
I have skill sets in:
-- mathematics (algebra, geometry, calculus, and test prep)
-- the sciences (physics, introductory chemistry)
-- engineering (statics, mechanics of materials, structural analysis)
-- computer software (Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD)
-- writing (grammar and organization)
