I am available to help in many areas including proofreading, organizing essays, and basic music theory. I can also help you if you have a presentation coming up or if you need help studying for a test.
I have experience with teaching and tutoring students of all ages, and I enjoy working in an educational setting. Tutoring is not just a job for me; tutoring is something that I enjoy doing. I consider myself to be well-rounded, as I have tutored various school related subjects to high school students. I have also taught piano lessons to elementary aged students with no prior musical background. But one thing stands true regardless of the subject: I enjoy trying to keep things interesting for students when I am tutoring because if it is interesting it is easier to have better results. In addition to my previous experience with tutoring and teaching, I have my A.A. degree in music and I am in the process of finishing my undergraduate studies in music. I have tutored students of all ages. No two students are alike and therefore my tutoring process changes with each student.
I enjoy tutoring because I love helping students in the learning process. I enjoy helping students learn because I love seeing students go from not understanding something to being able to confidently perform a task. When I teach I encourage the students to work past their difficulties and I encourage them to persevere even when things get difficult. I feel that if I make the task enjoyable and understandable then the student will be able to learn and accomplish what they hope to accomplish. If learning is fun then the possibilities are endless!
