Hi! I am currently in my last semester of grad school finishing up my MPH at Boston University School of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology. I love research and education, as I am also a Massachusetts certified Emergency Medical Technician Instructor Coordinator. I part-time as an educator at Boston University Emergency Medical Service where I teach the college level program to train upcoming Emergency Medical Technicians. I enjoy teaching to a classroom of 40 students, but I find that students benefit more from make-up lectures where we are one on one and the setting allows for more interaction and discussion.
I specialize in Mandarin and math tutoring because I graduated from elementary school in China prior to immigrating to the states. I am great at pinyin, reading and writing simplified Chinese characters. I scored a 790 (out of 800) on my math section on the GREs and would love to tutor students who are preparing to take either the SATs for college or GREs for graduate school application.
Looking forward to working with you and your children!
