Hi, Parents and Students,
Please feel free to look at my reviews and feedback from current/past students.
I have been tutoring students since 2003 starting in Taiwan where I was the lead tutor for Taipei American School. I had a good relationship with the superintendent there and he referred me to students who needed the biggest boost in their grades. I tutored math
and sciences there from beginner level to advanced AP and IB courses. I have also tutored Chinese
to students and adults in Taiwan. I left Taiwan in 2006 and have been tutoring students in Hawaii since. I recently moved to Boston in 2011 and am glad to see there is a strong academic focus in the city and a belief that tutoring can improve a student's academic performance.
In terms of my credentials, I am a full-time engineer helping people save money on energy and water. San Francisco Housing and Boston Housing Authority are my clients. I tutor at night or on the weekends. I will be attending medical school this Fall.
I got a 5 (highest possible score) on AP chemistry
, and calculus
in high school. I graduated from Obama's High School in Hawaii, Punahou, in the top 10% of my class. Most of my classmates in the top 10% attended the top 10% of colleges in the US such as Ivy Leagues, MIT, CalTech, Stanford, etc. I attended Northwestern and majored in Engineering. Any science
course is not difficult for me such as chemistry
, organic, biology
, or thermodynamics
). Any math courses are fine as well. I can also teach Mandarin
Chinese with no problem. Do you need help with Chinese characters? I developed a method to assist people around the world with being able to read and write Chinese characters. I also have my MBA from National Taiwan University, and thus can assist you in the GMAT
. My SAT
scores were 90% or higher in 1998, and the MCAT
isn't a problem either.
I received a 12 in PS in MCATs and have tutored numerous students in Economics
, and Physics
, Chemistry and math.
Please let me know how I can help you.

6kg is equal to 60N on Earth, so 60N plus 4N is 64N.easy peasy
If Room and Board is 26% and Tuition is 64%, than you just take the difference in percent. 64-26 to get 38%.
Then multiply $15,000 and 38% to get $5700.
In other response, $9600 - $3900 DOES NOT = $6000, RATHER $5700
x^2 + 2x - 5 is equivalent to ax^2 + bx + c, that's why a= 1, b= 2, c= -5
Like others said earlier, u would use quadratic eq.
-b±v(b2-4ac) is numerator
2a is denominator
Therefore, -2 ±v (2^2 - 4*1*-5) = -2 ±v(4+20) = -2 ±v24 = -2 ± 2v6
v6 = 2.45
2v6 = 4.90
-2 - 4.90 = -6.90
