I have extensive experience in tutoring Algebra II, having done so for six years now. I received an A in my Advanced Algebra II high school course six years ago. I am well specialized in all topics that fall under a second course in algebra.
Having received an A in my AP Biology course in high school, followed by a score of 5 on the AP test, I can comfortably claim that I am very well suited in tutoring a first course in either regular or advanced biology. Furthermore, I am working towards my BS in Biomedical Engineering, further attesting to my expertise in the area.
I have two years of extensive experience in tutoring Calculus. I received an A in my AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC high school courses two years ago. Additionally, I received an A in Boston University's CAS MA225: Multivariate Calculus course taught by Professor Margaret Beck. I am well specialized in all topics that fall under single and multivariate calculus.
My experience includes two years of high school chemistry, including AP Chemistry, and one year of college general chemistry and one year of organic chemistry. I also have experience in MCAT chemistry.
I have extensive experience in tutoring differential equations, having done so for two years now. I received an A in Boston University's CAS MA226, the standard Differential Equations course taught by Professor Glen Hall. My topics of specialty include Bessel Functions of the First Find, Euler Methods, Laplace and Fourier Transforms, Partial Differential Equations, Separation of Variables and Second-Order Differential Equations, etc.
I have extensive experience in tutoring geometry, having done so for six years now. I received an A in my geometry high school course six years ago. I am well specialized in all topics that fall under a first course in geometry.
I have extensive experience in tutoring linear algebra, having done so for two years now. I received an A in Boston University's ENG EK102, the standard Linear Algebra course taught by Professor Calin Belta. My topics of specialty include Matrix Algebra, Determinants, Vector Spaces, Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors, Orthogonality and Least Squares, and Symmetric Matrices, etc.
I am a senior in Biomedical Engineering and I have been using MATLAB in my coursework for the past four years. I have also served as a MATLAB Teaching Assistant for ENG EK 127, the basic introduction to programming class that all students at Boston University have to take. All my internships thus far have involved advanced use of MATLAB and I am competent in almost every aspect of this programming language.
I am currently studying Biomedical Engineering, and have studied three years of high-school physics, including AP Physics B & C, and two years of college physics. I have experience tutoring physics for the MCAT.
Having tutored high school geometry, algebra, and calculus for several years now, I can confidently claim that I am well versed and highly capable in tutoring pre-algebra. As part of my high school's honors program, I was able to help many struggling students overcome this initial barrier to algebra with strong, fundamental skills in math.
Having tutored advanced algebra, trigonometry, and calculus for several years now, I can confidently state that I am very capable in tutoring pre-calculus for those struggling in this area in high school.
I received a perfect score of 2400 on my SATs two years ago, with a perfect 800 on the Math section. Having prepped for the SAT myself for two years, I can comfortably say that I am well-equipped to tutor SAT math.
Back in high school, I received an A in my Honors Trigonometry course, and have tutored the subject ever since. As part of my high school's tutoring program, I have helped numerous students cope with trigonometry with a very high success rate.
