I am a graduate from MIT. I majored in courses 8 and 18, which - in non-MIT talk - are physics and mathematics, respectively. I am currently doing doctoral work in theoretical physics at Harvard.
As you can imagine, I love physics and math. I am very passionate about these subjects and want others to see just how awesome they are. For that reason, I like tutoring. It allows me to impart my knowledge of these subjects to other people. I think there are many subjects that aren't taught very well in school. Physics, math, and, specifically, certain sub-fields of the two subjects definitely constitute a lot of the courses that are not presented in the clearest and most precise way. By tutoring these subjects, I can help students see not only the profound importance of the material but also the underlying simplicity.
I can teach students all levels and essentially all sub-fields of physics and mathematics. Although physics and math are certainly the two subjects that I most enjoy, I am able - and willing - to tutor students in other subjects as well. These include chemistry, other physical sciences, some engineering disciplines, and English, especially grammar.
As for more information about me, I have perfect scores on the SAT, ACT, SAT II physics subject test, SAT II math II subject test, general GRE, GRE physics test, and GRE math test. I am also a Research Affiliate with both the Center for Theoretical Physics at MIT and the Center for the Fundamental Laws of Nature at Harvard. In case you're curious, I am currently conducting research in string theory and black holes.
