English

I have gotten no less than a B+ in English/writing in school whether it be elementary school, high school, or college, and I have taken several creative writing courses.

Soccer

I have always been a fan of playing soccer. When I was in gym class and used to play the teachers were impressed with how quickly I picked up how to play the sport. They liked the way I could kick and how when the ball came to me I didn't have to stop it to kick it to my teammate. Since I didn't get the chance to play on any junior high or high school teams, I took the opportunity and was fortunate enough to play on the women's soccer team while attending the University of Massachusetts, Lowell campus. While on the UML team they the positions I played were either a wing, or defense. Although, having helped my teammates, I can help with the goalie position as well. so let's play soccer, and have some fun!

Study Skills

Study Skills can play a big role in the success of obtaining knowledge of a subject. I had trouble in school until I changed my study habits. Once I did that, I started to do much better in my classes and learning became a lot easier. This is why I would like to help others develop their study skills so that they can succeed.

Approved Subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet certified in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
