My mission is to help my students reach their education goals. I work with each student and their family to assess student needs, set goals, and develop a plan for success. I support students on their road to knowledge through private tutoring, test preparation, and academic workshops.

I work with students in the core academic subjects: math, science, social studies, and English. I also work on study skills, organization and time management with students as needed. I have extensive experience working with students with ADD/ADHD. I am an expert writing instructor and I am currently certified as an English Language Arts teacher by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

I am also available for test preparation tutoring, including SAT, PSAT, ACT, SSAT and ISEE. I generally begin test preparation by giving an initial timed assessment exam. I will then analyze the test results and develop an individualized study plan for the student.

ADD/ADHD

I taught for four years at The Willow Hill School, Sudbury, MA, where I worked exclusively with students with learning disabilities. The majority of these students were diagnosed with ADD or ADHD. In this teaching position, I developed a wide range of methods for working with and teaching students with ADD/ADHD.

Since that time, I have also worked privately with a number of students with ADD/ADHD. Their parents have been especially happy with our results.

Aspergers

I worked for several years as a classroom teacher at a school for kids with learning disabilities. During my time there, I worked with many students with Aspergers Syndrome to help them with their academic and social skills. I continue to work with students with Aspergers Syndrome as a tutor to help them overcome their unique learning challenges.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
