Hello!

My name is Dan, I am an honors student in my junior year double majoring in biochemistry and human nutrition, in addition I am a member of the Commonwealth Honors College. I have been working as a tutor since the summer of 2012, initially for a company, and more recently as a private tutor. I am comfortable teaching math and sciences (my favorite being the ever feared chemistry) from elementary to introductory college levels. Guitar

I have been playing guitar for 6 years, and have a steady history as a musician. I can teach beginner guitar fundamentals, basic chords, as well as more advanced aspects such as seventh chords, fingerpicking, finger-style and some melodic playing. In addition, I am well versed in music theory (4 out of 5 on AP music theory test) which greatly aids to learning any instrument.

Drums

I have been playing drums for 9 years. I have played in school bands, and a couple of professional musicals. I can teach basic drumming skills such as rudiments, proper stick grip, rhythm/note reading, and more advanced techniques such as the drum set, including rock beats, basic jazz/latin beats and more. In addition, I am well versed in music theory which helps with any instrument.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
