I have extensive experience with tutoring students of all ages. Since high school, I have been tutoring elementary and middle school students in nearly all subject areas. I have also tutored high school students in Biology, Chemistry, Algebra, Geometry, English, Korean, and methods of studying efficiently and effectively.

I graduated in college in 3 years with a degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Chemistry. I graduated with suma cum laude with a 3.93 GPA. During my stay in college, I tutored other college students in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cell & Molecular Biology, and Organic Chemistry.

As someone who has tutored for the past 8 years, I am very comfortable with students of all ages and subject levels. I am patient and I strive to help the student understand the subject matter. Although I have my own method of tutoring students, I am very open to discussing how I could help the student more. I am also open to negotiating the final price of the tutoring sessions depending on hours, special needs, etc.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have a lot of experience tutoring elementary school students and helping them with homework. I like to set their homework and classroom activities as a guide, but I frequently teach relevant materials that help them to extrapolate the information and prepare them to think outside the box.

Study Skills

As someone who graduated from college in three years, I have excellent organizational skills and very efficient time management skills. I am able to help students schedule their time to be more effective, but at the same time, set time aside for leisure activities. I can help students to find methods of studying that work for them and the environment that is most beneficial specifically to them.

Korean

I am fluent in Korean - I can read, speak, and write fluently. I am able to tutor students in beginning, intermediate, and/or advanced levels. I have taught Korean to two students and we worked on vocabulary, grammar, sentence completions, and essays.

Public Speaking

When I was in high school, I used to be afraid of public speaking. However, through multiple opportunities to speak in front of the public, I have become a very efficient presenter who can not only speak comfortably in front of people, but also exhibit good public speaking skills. I can help students to overcome the fear of public speaking and advance their body language, eye contact, etc., to improve effectiveness.

Organic Chemistry

I have a lot of experience tutoring organic chemistry I and II. I took organic chemistry in my freshman year of college and received almost perfect scores in both semesters.
