I have been teaching and tutoring English and Spanish to non-native speakers for the past 20 years or so. Most of my teaching experience was acquired while living abroad in Nicaragua. I have taught children, teens and adults in private and group settings. I enjoy sharing my love for these two languages with others and am available throughout the weekdays and evenings, including weekends. My educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish and International Studies/Management from the California State University - Sonoma, and graduate studies in epidemiology and biostatistics at the University of California, Berkeley. I also have a certificate of training as a medical interpreter(Spanish-English-Spanish) and am currently studying for my ESL certification after so many years of experience in the field.
