Whether you are currently struggling with a course or have an upcoming course that you would like to get a head start on, one-on-one tutoring can greatly improve your chances of improving your educational abilities, mastering critical skills, and improving your overall academic performance. I have over ten years of tutoring experience--kindergarten through college--and over fifteen years of experience working with children in both childcare and academic settings. I graduated from LSU in Shreveport in May of 2012 with my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and a minor in English.. I served on the Board of Editors for SPECTRA in 2009 and have judged the regional debate tournament at LSU-S for the past three years. I enjoy literature for education and pleasure. I am a licensed Medical Transcriptionist, hold current CPR and First Aid certifications, coached a five-to-six year old soccer through Bossier Parks and Recreation, am a trained, certified Science Fair judge through LSU-S; am a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for the Caddo Parish Juvenile Court, and am a registered Caddo Parish substitute teacher. I believe that communication skills are essential for students today--both written and oral communication skills--and I strive to help every student I tutor to reach his/her goals in the most effective, efficient, and professional manner possible. Consultations under one hour are complimentary (consultations lasting more than one hour will be billed at the current hourly rate). I look forward to meeting with you and your son/daughter so we can get started on the road to success today!
