There is a way for you to get prepared to take your tests; you can use hypothetical examples, practice aloud, and review the ASVAB test format. You will reap the reward of inner calm as test day approaches by reassuring yourself that you have done everything that you can possibly do to cover the subject matter. You are the one with the problems and will eventually have the answers. With me as your mentor, you can hear yourself thinking and together we'll locate your trouble areas.
I had Biology and Earth Science courses while a student during the early part of this century. I can help make ecology, Punnett squares, DNA, RNA, the water cycle, Earth sciences, and the bottom of the ocean seem real with illustrations while you make your reading skills improve just like any college student needs to. I would tell you to cover your biology software at any time on your own but also use your own skill and creativity to make the subject rich with your personal effort. We can build models or read excerpts that I bring to the lesson.
I received my Master of Business Administration degree. The year before I started the MBA program, I took some courses in business at the University of New Orleans. Business Communication Speech I and II courses required us to prepare speeches and deliver them. Some of them were timed. I was gaining experience by participating in presentations, debates, and speeches. To be successful with impressive business interactions in the challenging, fast paced, and competitive field of business you need as much coaching and experience that you can obtain. You can call me to be sure that you are articulating words that aren't that familiar to you. You can also expect me to develop a lesson plan that teaches you the value of structured time and is suited for your particular requirements.
I can use my MBA from Herzing University and post-graduate business courses at University of New Orleans plus my own pursuit of jobs to help people who are not yet employees of a business. I also have the web to locate innovative and recent advances made in the job market. In our lessons, we'll create interviews and act in them, seek the parameters of the students' interests and propensities, work to self-assess and locate strong and little compatibility, and look at job boards. We'll take time to analyze our discoveries and concentrate on prioritizing and structuring career development effort.
I'm from Berklee College of Music of Boston and Newcomb College of New Orleans. I was a classical piano performer for ten years as a youth and later given my recording studio engineering credentials. As a local New Orleans choir member, I'm required to read new sheet music issued weekly to us by our director. We read the notes on the music staff. An A440 tuning fork or pitch pipe is used to start ear training students. Once the student hums that pitch of A440, it is okay to move on to other frequencies using interval knowledge. If music becomes important as a major pursuit to you, you can learn from me harmony and other unfamiliar parts of written music. We'll examine it as music theory rather than music performance.
In the spring of 2003 I finished Economics 1000 at our local University of New Orleans. World poverty, market structures and prices, government control of prices, economics of higher education, economics of crime were topics in Chapters 1-3 and 5 as well as our first one hour exam. We sat in a huge auditorium while lectured by our professor standing on a stage with slides on the screen. We finished 13 chapters while covering a huge number of policy, taxation, energy problems, and health issues with social security poverty problems and discrimination that semester. I have many T-F and multiple choice quizzes as well as my text and workbook.
Students that meet with me weekly in the various public libraries of the GNO area benefit from the large amount of attention that I can give to their particular difficulties. My schooling consistently enables me to reassure students in the areas of test-taking, writing, reading comprehension, ELA, math, computer literacy, science, and more. I haven't forgotten my own elementary school lessons. It pleases me to teach children the love of academic achievement and the different weights that their study skills hold. I wish I could show you the photo of a second grader I have been helping over a long-term period. He has 2nd term ELA, Honor Roll, and math award certificates. I have a good rapport with people and will do my best at all times.
In my own experience as a private lessons student are the subjects of music theory and performance. Recitals required daily practice that lasted for the ten years I played classical piano. I graduated in music after a hiatus for ten years from piano and loved learning how to use technology manuals and equipment in recording studios. Currently, I participate in a vocal choir and a bell choir for which both sight singing and general music knowledge are important.
I have just started compartmentalizing the LSAT here in 2013 using Barron's pass key so that LSAT test-takers can depend on me to help them. Yet, my goal is to teach you to take your tests with insight, habits, and preparation that you wouldn't have on your own. We should start well in advance of the test date. We can feel relieved that we can see your progress and happy that you were often pleased by our interaction, deductions, observations, and explorations.
Tutoring throughout the summer of 2013 with higher education students, I refreshed and built my knowledge weekly by reviewing and solving with them many math problems. These hours included linear equations, quantitative math, graphs, percentages, inequalities, ratios and proportions, and geometry among some others. Cross-multiplication of fractional form equations has to be used to transform the problem into ax + b = 0 where a is not equal to 0, and the final
x = -b/a. I have been using the distributive property, combining like terms, conversions, and radicals in the steps for students.
To fulfill my general requirements in the math area at UNO, I took a Logic Math Course at UNO and earned an A. I also have been tutoring students in Critical Reasoning that I have in my GRE and GMAT as well as LSAT. My reckoning is augmented by my math experience.

I pay close attention to enunciation and progress with pronunciation. I bring my laptop to lessons and will plan lessons whether original or from websites with your help.
Praxis is really enlivening and rather like getting a seven course meal ready for 10 guests. You can pass if you just prioritize and recite aloud. I have taken and passed two Praxis II exams. Your call to a tutor means that you are ready to reach this goal and get to another. I'll be pleased to help you with the Praxis material. I have the Quickbooks software program and can meet you in the public libraries as I do with all of my students. I'm an expert user of computers, and can show you around through QB. QuickBooks holds tax information, business records (including salaries and time sheets) and customer data. You will benefit from training to use this software on your own time, rather than learning under employer who might rush you.
I receive a new song weekly for both vocal choir as well as bell choir. I use my sight singing skills like anyone there to reach the right notes. I learned how to sing at the first sight of a song written in musical form in private lessons and in college classrooms.
A tutor certified in study skills can extract and compile vital information for students. The web presents loads of overwhelming information about the subjects in school and also study skills. Students may not be able to cover everything. My intention as a study skills tutor is to focus for the student until the student can. I know how to format and reformat information, find the key issues, and demonstrate mnemonic approaches that students can use when preparing their classwork. I know that smart study habits can decrease the anxiety of students. I have done that for myself before and am willing to help others do it. I have helped countless students while teaching to pay attention to the fine points of collecting and organizing information. Studying can be fun once students take note to studying as an art.
WyzAnt presents me with students that need to increase their study skills. Due to my workforce training and development, as well as business degrees that I have and the teaching in K-12 that I do, I know how to study and guide you to study. My sources of studying approaches are from the web, my own educators, years of experience as an educator, and my personal library collection. I am a degreed, practical knowledge scientist. As a student striving for a degree, I had to meet the course criteria, was expected to submit assignments in a timely fashion, and finish extensive research before constructing presentations and papers. Gradually, I began to study more proficiently and feel better in the time it took to get a desirable result. I learned that I would have to organize what I studied so that from year to year I could locate what I had researched and logged and use it again. Your students will learn from me how to efficiently package your academic efforts.
