Tutor of All Trades for Elementary through High School

**JUST A REMINDER THAT I WILL BE ON VACATION FROM 5/15 THROUGH 5/24. TUTORING SESSIONS WILL RESUME AS REGULARLY SCHEDULED BEGINNING MONDAY, 5/27.**

I have spent the last six months as a tutor with my local public school district. In the course of any given day, I have been called upon to help students (Jr. High and High School) with math, history, science, physics, and English questions. In the last month our coursework has particularly emphasized ACT/SAT and AP test preparation.

I love teaching and I love getting to know my students. I consider them my peers and friends as well as my teaching subjects. I have a passion for History, but have also studied the sciences extensively. I also know American Sign Language and Spanish in addition to my native tongue (English). I am anxious to share my passion for my favorite subjects and learning in general with those I tutor.

I believe everyone has their best fit for method of study. Some people are auditory learners. Some people learn best by doing; some by reading about it. The key to developing good study skills is to decipher how you learn best.

Sign Language

I studied two courses of American Sign Language while a student at the University of Utah. My professor was passionate about his subject and helped us understand Deaf culture as well as actual Sign Language.
