"Too fast"

Krishna is very advanced in math, a bit too advanced for me. He did a good job as far reviewing some questions that I've completed prior to our session but when it came to him explaining something new to me I was completely lost. I'm not sure if it was because he was moving too quickly since he is very knowledgeable in the area or he was solving examples using formulas in which I never learned. I appreciate his efforts but I need to be walked through things when learning something new, not ran.

My senior struggling in trig, after only one session with Krishna, was confident that he did well on test today. He had a much better understanding of the concept. Krishna was very helpful in teaching and making me understand the concepts of graphing functions. We met for an hour and half and by the end of the session I had a very good understanding and felt more confident in dealing with functions. When I first started with Krishna I had a lot of trouble with my math ACT. With Krishna's help I'm doing much better and more confident then I was before about taking the ACT. He helps step by step making it more easier to understand the concepts of math. He also helped me memorize the formulas. I'm glad he's my tutor, I wouldn't be as confident as I am right now about the ACT without him. Great Tutor!

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
