I am recently retired from the United States Army. I went through the troops to teachers program to teach middle school math 4th through 8th grade. My mom was also a math teacher, so you could say I was born to teach math. I have passed the PRAXIS II test to be able to teach middle school math and I have a 23 ACT score. I have plenty of experience with the ASVAB because I was an Army recruiter for nine years and a 113 GT, and I can help with any problems you are having with the math portion. I can help with the English portion but it is not my expertise. I am proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. I have coached units on crew drills from ones that just needed a refresher to those that knew nothing. I have two children: one 14 and one 18, so I have seen both middle school math, high school math, and starting college on a daily basis. I have plenty of experience with computers. I have used many different teaching techniques, and I will figure out which one works best for you. I can be an easy going teacher, or I can be that drill sergeant you might need. I have swim experience of over 30 years. I am a qualified First Responder. I am also Life Guard trained. I did drown proofing through the military 23 years. I baby trained, until 18, two of my own kids. I have a 19 foot in-ground pool in my back-yard.

Softball

Played softball for over 20 years. Coached Softball for 10-16 year olds for 3 years. My expertise is in place hitting. I can round robin all positions on a diamond including catcher to make sure they don't get bored back there.

Drawing

I have taken Art 1 thru Art IV. I was also in the art club for 4 years of high school. I've sold art in local fairs. My pictures have one 1st and 2nd place in art fairs.

ASVAB

I joined the Army 23 years ago and took the ASVAB. It has not changed much since, but I have seen the changes when I spent 10 years on recruiting duty. I am very familiar with the ASVAB test. It is similar to taking a GED, ACT, or SAT. I have 23 ACT, and I have a 113 GT which is the main score of the ASVAB which would be equal to or above a 70 QT.

The part I can help the most on the ASVAB is the math portion because I have a PL3 to teach middle school math.

Microsoft Access

I've used this program for over 10 years. I can transfer anything from Word or Excel to Access. I can form databases and conduct queries.
