I've had experience working with students throughout my undergraduate career where I worked as a research assistant, teaching laboratory classes, and also at a math resource center where I worked one-on-one with students helping them with math problems. I currently have three publications in the math/physics field and have been employed by the National Superconducting Laboratory (NSCL) before being employed here in Louisiana as an Officer at Barksdale AFB working on Nuclear Deterrence issues. My undergraduate degree is in physics and my graduate degree is in Nuclear Engineering. My graduate research covered a wide range of fields including: electronics, chemistry, physics and nuclear technology and is titled "Neutron Spectroscopy using LiF Semiconducting Thin-Film Perforated Diodes".
I love tutoring because it keeps me "on my toes" and helps me to stay engaged in the math/science field while helping to shape the future. I will be prepared for each tutoring session, always looking over the material before we meet.
