I am a certified Louisiana teacher. I have been in the classroom 6 years. I have taught regular education as well as special education. Time management is another really important factor of study skills. When we feel like there is too much to do, sometimes we focus our time negatively. However, with a few strategies, studying will come with ease and the stress will disappear.

I am a certified special education teacher with 3 years of self contained experience and was also a resource teacher 1 year. I am familiar with up to date and effective teaching strategies for special needs students.

ADD/ADHD

Being a certified classroom teacher and a mother, I am able to effectively teach ADD/ADHD students with chunking information and teaching for short spans with movement, music, and manipulatives that keep students interested in learning,

Aspergers

I am certified in mild/moderate special education grades 1-12. I taught self contained special education for 3 years and as a resource special education teacher for 1 year. I have been trained to work and have previously and successfully worked with Aspergers students.

Autism

I have been trained to work and have previously and successfully worked with autistic students. I am trained in ABA as well as PECS; both are proven methods of success for autistic students.

As a special ed certified teacher, I have taught dyslexic students in the past, who have shown growth using different reading strategies and color reading filters.
