I like to tutor in not only subjects that I'm good in, but subjects that I love. I received a 28 on my ACT: 23 in Math, 26 in English, 29 in Science, and 33 in Reading. I've made the Dean's list every semester since I started college in the Fall of '12. I have experience in tutoring. I've participated in my college's work study as an English tutor, where I primarily dealt with papers. I helped a student with their paper, and they went from getting Ds and Cs to high Bs and As. I don't think tutoring should be constant studying and memorizing. I believe there should be 10 minute breaks after 30 straight minutes of tutoring. Tutoring should be an enjoyable learning experience. I don't think anyone is dumb or stupid. Everyone is intelligent and shouldn't feel ashamed if they don't excel in every subject. Everyone needs help once in a while.
