I love helping people who want to learn. It is great to see things beginning to click in people and to help cultivate a passion for lifelong learning. Each student is different, so I offer personal assistance that not only helps in a particular subject, but also transfers into other areas of life and learning. I want to meet your current tutoring needs while investing in your continuing growth.
I offer tutoring in Computer Programming
with a focus on C
. I am also available for Microsoft Office and Biblical studies.
Much of my experience has been centered around computers and software development. I have experience designing computer software, teaching software engineers, and working with the product users directly. My programming experience is primarily in C and C++ for Microsoft Windows
as well as Java
. My Bachelor of Science
Degree is in Computer Science
Developing software gave me more than just programming skills. It developed my writing
skills, allowed for being creative, and required being able apply mathematics
for problem solving. As I created software products, I acquired an advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office products and how to make use of them not only for work and school, but for daily life. If you need help with Word, Excel
, and PowerPoint
, I am the perfect person to help you not only learn how to use them, but go beyond the basics to draw from the power these products offer.
Working with computers has opened doors for me to teach computer classes, mentor individuals, and even provide technical training in a corporate setting.
My passion is helping people grow in their understanding and application of the Bible, so if you are looking for help with Biblical Studies I can help. I have a Master of Divinity Degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and serve in a ministry capacity.
I truly enjoy serving others and seeing people grow and learn. I especially enjoy helping people connect learning and life in practical ways. I really believe that I can help you with your tutoring needs, and seek to do so with the hope that you will enjoy the subject while also developing and sharpening your learning skills.
