I teach chemistry at UK and Georgetown. I love teaching and tutoring and helping students understand chemistry.

I have tutored and taught chemistry at the high school and college level for many years. I have a PhD in chemistry education and feel very comfortable with chemistry at the high school level and any freshmen or introductory class in college. I am very familiar with UK's chemistry professors and classes including the online Mastering Chemistry homework system. I have tutored nursing chemistry, all of the freshmen chemistry sequence, and organic chemistry. I know where students tend to get stuck and can help you consistently solve problems and do well in your class. I have helped students prepare for the AP chemistry exam.

I have tutored students from middle school age to college level and beyond. My students have been from several local high schools, Centre College, Transylvania U., and University of Kentucky.

I am getting an MPH in Biostatistics and have taken several graduate classes in statistics. I can tutor Stats 210 or 291 for undergrads, and statistics for education graduate students, as well as biostatistics. I am proficient in SPSS.

I can help with ACT science, MCAT sciences, PCAT sciences, DAT sciences, as well as GRE math prep. I can also help with research design and orals preparation for graduate students.

I have successfully homeschooled my own children - my oldest child was homeschooled from 2nd grade through high school and is now on the Dean's List at UK majoring in chemistry.

I can tutor you at a local library or coffee shop or the UK library. My schedule is flexible.

I really enjoy the one-on-one interaction with students and think it provides a great framework for learning. I promise to be punctual as well as prepared for our lesson.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
