I am a graduate of the University of Kentucky. Years later I went back to school to learn AutoCAD and similar design software. Even before I graduated, I was tutoring a few of those that needed help to finish their task at hand. Since I was already being paid as a Computer Laboratory Assistant, I took no money, even when it was offered. After graduation in 2004, I started simple and quickly worked my way into a couple of Engineering firms. During that time I have worked on small and large projects. The larger projects include, for starters, three new Waste Water Treatment Plants; Otter Creek in Richmond, Kentucky, Irvine Regional in Irvine Kentucky and Lower Howards Creek in Winchester, Kentucky. To give you an idea, the Otter Creek WWTP was bid at a little over 30 Million dollars, Lower Howards Creek WWTP a little over 28 million dollars, Irvine Regional WWTP, a little over 9 million dollars. During those times, I was responsible not only for the AutoCAD design drafting for multiple disciplines, but I was also responsible for coordinating the efforts from multiple departments, sometimes between multiple Engineering design firms.
