I have had nine years experience teaching high school. My areas of teaching have been music history, music theory, drama, chorus and the Performing Arts. In addition to the afore mentioned, I have taught piano, voice, and trumpet and study skills.

Have coordinated a dinner theatre at the high school where I taught. The classes wrote their own script and music. They made all the lights and ran the lights and sound system. I just oversaw each area of the theatre. Another year my students wrote their own "talk show" featuring the students in my class.

I have taught general music for 8 years at the high school level and even taught a short time the men at a minimum security prison.

As a Humanities teacher at Western High School in Louisville, KY I taught Music History. I taught this for 8 years.

Piano

I have played piano for 21 years. I play at church on the worship team, and accompanied my choirs at Western High School in Louisville, KY for 8 years.

Sight Singing

I have taught sight reading for 8 years as the choral teacher at Western High School.

Voice (Music)

I was choir teacher at Western High School in Louisville, KY for 8 years. I also taught independent voice lessons for 2 years.

Bible Studies

I have been a student of the Bible for 40 years. I have taken Old Testament and New Testament classes and even finished a three year Bible school this past summer.

Trumpet

I started playing the trumpet when I was in the 5th grade. I played until I graduated from high school. In high school I challenged others for the first chair and won every time. After college I played on the worship team for my church.
