I would love the opportunity to help you with your chemistry troubles and frustrations! I received my Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Berea College, having been trained in all areas of the subject. During my education I have worked as a Teacher's Assistant, Tutor, and Grader for the Chemistry Department. In addition, I fulfilled the position of Director of Laboratories for my last two years at the college. Since the completion of my education at Berea College, I have been working as Interim Lab Coordinator of the Chemistry Department for a private college in Oregon. As Interim Lab Coordinator, I instruct the laboratory component of the General Chemistry courses for approximately ninety students each term. I intend to continue my education in Chemistry by pursuing a Ph.D next year. Having been a recent student as well as an instructor allows me to really help students to better understand and successfully complete assignments and exams. I work very hard to help students develop a method for approaching problems and questions so that they can translate their knowledge to all types of questions asked. With my work as a daily instructor, I have learned to direct students to the right train of thought for problems by asking questions rather than just giving answers. As a very visual learner, I am able to help students see connections and methods for their work on paper for questions that seem abstract.
Please let me know if you have any questions at all and thank you for your consideration!
