I am currently employed as an outdoor instructor teaching kids about the 5th grade age about science, tectonics, and ecology using simple examples, experiments, and games. Before that I was teaching in college laboratories in the south of New Zealand. Mostly the courses composed of ecology, and biology lessons, but obviously more in depth than the exercises used with the 5th graders. So, I hope that conveys something of my ability to communicate with kids at both ends of the spectrum (as far as focusing ability is generally regarded). I just finished a non-thesis masters degree in New Zealand/Fiji where I was focused mainly on coral reefs the the myriad of interactions readily observed. I hope this can give whoever is reading this a snapshot into what I'm knowledgeable. I also possess a degree in French linguistics (I've mostly used for travel), but I've tutored fellow students in both grammar and phonetics, vocabulary and other aspects of language learning.
