I was a substitute teacher for two years in a public school system. When I was a substitute teacher it was mainly elementary and middle school and some high school. I helped in all areas. I have been in the music room, art room, and many classrooms. I have been an aid and been in special needs classrooms. I like working with students seeing them grow and finally get something. I want to tutor students. I like to help anyway that I can.
I am a member of big brothers and sisters. I help my little with any homework she may have, and I take her to the library. I tell her that school is important. I will do my best to help the student with whatever they need help with. I like having a good time but I want the student to get the homework or any other work done. I want everyone to succeed in school and in life. I am very determined to make sure that school comes first.
My favorite saying is two heads are better than one. By that, I mean if someone needs help with something, it is good to ask for help. I am flexible and reliable and I will be there when you need me. I am hardly ever late and I make sure, if I am not going to make it, I will let you know early and tell you that I will be late. I am a college student so I am free during the summer. During the semester, I will be available after 3 p.m. and anytime during the weekends if needed.
