As an experienced educator in public and alternative school settings since 1993, I have statistical, academic gains in reading and math courses with the use of researched based strategies including the Frayer model with vocabulary building, the KDP model in problem solving, and 3-step strategies for ACT and SAT test preparation. My certification includes K-12 Exceptional Student Education and Middle School Integrated Curriculum grades 5-9. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Theatre Education from Ball State University, Indiana and a Masters degree in Education from Antioch University, Ohio.
As a tutor, my instruction will be individualized and progress will be indicated by pre- and post-tests, as well as student progress reports. I look forward to seeing students capitalize on their academic skills.
