I have been honored to work/have worked in various elementary schools in Lake County. These include/ed schools in Crown Point Elementary, East Chicago Lighthouse Charter School (Special Education), Griffith Elementary Schools, Highland Elementary Schools, Merrillvillle Elementary Schools, and Munster Elementary Schools.

In time, I became experienced in working with disabilities. At the East Chicago Lighthouse School, I was a Special Education Paraprofessional who worked with children who had ADD, ADHD, autism, Down syndrome and behavior/mental disabilities. I was successful in teaching these children the basic skills as well as meeting their IEP goals.

As a General/Special Education Substitute, I managed the classrooms for grades K through 5. Rigid instruction was prepared so all students grew and excelled in their knowledge.

In any school, I worked one-on-one with students to address the subjects of difficulty and helped them move forward with confidence.
