I went to Mt. Carmel H.S. and was the science and math medal winner all of my four years there. I was in the Advanced Honors Program all four years and graduated 7th out of 180 seniors in my class. My records are on file for you to check. I also went to Loyola University of Chicago under the Pre-Med Program. I graduated with a Biology/Chemistry Degree with almost a full Math Degree. My GPA in my science/math field was 3.50/4.00. I have a great deal of patience, which my own daughter can attest to, based on all the years I helped tutor her. Math comes to me much quicker than most, especially since I never relied on a calculator to do my thinking for me. Too many kids/adults are dependent of technology to do their work for them, but I never had or wanted that luxury for me.
I loved science/math in my school history and would like to teach your kids how to love it also, without them thinking that school is just a chore or something to just get thru. I would like to stress to them how important a well-rounded school background is in today's competitive world, and that knowledge is the one thing that nobody can ever take away from you. Thank you.
