I have had 15 years of teaching experience in small classrooms - private academy, church, and homeschool co-ops, followed by 15 years of home-tutoring my own. I have participated in nine teacher-training conferences, and spent 100's of hours of research, to better meet the special needs of my children. Homeschooling gave me daily practice for 'whatever it takes' to guide each child in their own learning style, at their own pace, until they achieve success. All five of my homeschool grads have long work histories; and each is finishing or entering post-high-school studies and doing great (engineering, humanities/arts, health/fitness, nursing, floraculture). Of course, I am not an 'expert' on every subject. Instead, I learned to love learning, and to lead my students to be creative and courageous when they face academic mountains. I would be honored to share my experience as you face your own 'mountains.'
