I have been working in the field of education since 1986. During this time, I have worked as a K-8 elementary/middle school teacher (covering all subjects Language
, etc.), K-12 Spanish
teacher, college-level Spanish and teacher education professor, K-8 principal and high school assistant principal in both public and private schools. I have also served as a student teaching supervisor for some local colleges and done private tutoring in the areas of Spanish, English
, Elementary grade subjects, and computer
/technology for a variety of companies and individuals, as well as having worked with ESL
and ENL students, teaching and working with them on their English speaking, reading and writing.
I hold a BA degree from a major university, in Spanish and education, an MS degree, and have completed additional graduate work in secondary and elementary language arts
/math, computer/technology education, Spanish and English. I am licensed to teach in 5 states, including Indiana. I work full-time during the school year as the department chair and lead Spanish teacher and as the world literature
teacher at a high school in Indiana, and I work part-time in the evenings teaching at several major universities. I have traveled to Spain, Africa, Mexico and Portugal.
I am married and my wife is an English teacher and published author. We have three children; our oldest son, who is a special needs
person, currently lives in a group home, our daughter is a junior in college, and our youngest son is a junior in high school.

Rate is $40/hr; but, for elem./mid. sch. students $30/hr. Contact Jeff for discounted group rates. H.S. students & older, 2 hr. min. per session for roundtrip distances of more than 39 miles.
