Interactive Spanish tutor with academic passion

Coming from a liberal arts background, I believe the best way to learn is through being involved and active in the subject. Instead of repetition and memorization, my students actually learn how to use the material and apply what they have learned.

I have studied in Spain and go to graduate school at Florida Atlantic University for a MA in Spanish. I am personally invested in Spanish and so have the motivation to help others improve their Spanish (or English), and also help foster a passion for the subject.

My schedule is flexible, and so is my teaching. We will naturally move at the learning rate of the student.

I started studying Spanish in high school, and studied in Valencia Spain for the first time in 2007. I graduated from Wabash College with a BA in Spanish, and also studied in Madrid Spain in 2011.
Now I am studying Spanish at Florida Atlantic University.

Swimming

I have been swimming all of my life. I swam all for years in high school and lettered every year, and was also captain senior year. In college, I lettered all for years in swimming and was captain senior year. I also gave swimming lessons to kids ages 5-12 during the school year. I am currently the assistant coach for the Fountain Central summer swimming team.
