Hi! I have a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, one of the top engineering schools in the US. While in college, I tutored students in math, science and English in all grades to college-level. I've had a plethora of experience in research and real-life science which lets me teach with real-life examples. Since I originally started tutoring in high school, I can relate to students of all levels and experience. I've lived overseas and am fluent in French. My engineering degree lets me help in many areas of biology, math, and chemistry. I love to work with all ages and my goal is to make students like or love areas that have given them difficulty.

I'm an active volunteer and love to give back to the my community. My passions are science and people. I look forward to helping my future students!

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Genetics

I have a Biomedical Engineering background which required taking Genetics as a course. As such, I'm familiar with the concepts and methods in genetics. Also, I have conducted multiple research projects that were genetics based so I am able to help bring 'real-life' applications when teaching this subject matter.

Microsoft Outlook

I am an engineer and was taught within my degree how to use this program and code within it.
