I worked for eleven years at Munster High School, as an instructional assistant, tutoring and teaching math and other subjects, primarily to students with learning disabilities and/or emotional disabilities. I am very good at finding ways to reach students and help them understand. I am currently an undergrad (senior) at Purdue University Calumet majoring in mathematics with a minor in physics.
Being a "seasoned" college student, I have taken many classes (engineering, programming, chemistry, philosophy) and also have valuable life experience. I have been honored to be a mentor to many students over the years. I believe that everyone can be a success and that the only time you fail is when you quit. I enjoy opening students' minds to the idea that math is cool.
