HS Valedictorian, HS Math Teacher, Bookkeeper

I am currently an accounting controller of 7 years, but am a former HS mathematics teacher and tutor of many years. Before I started a professional career, I graduated valedictorian of my high school class. I greatly enjoy tutoring students and have helped many pass the ISTEP and PRAXIS exams. My philosophy of tutoring is one of mastery. Too many teachers move through topics before many students are able to master them. Because of this, many students experience years of confusion, wondering why they don't get it, and fear that they may never understand or succeed in their current courses, or future, college courses. I want you to get it. I want you to play the game and win, to learn the objectives set before you, build on what you've learned, and achieve your life goals, one course at a time. I primarily tutor on the weekends, but will make myself available for on-line tutoring on selective weeknights, based on student needs. I look forward to helping you to overcome and build strength in understanding!
