I have always had a love of art. I don't remember a time when I didn't draw. After graduating high school and after my first year of college, I developed a passion for teaching as a professional tennis instructor teaching children and adults.
I taught tennis professionally and full-time for over twenty years. During this time, I continued my artistic pursuits as a freelance artist (which is my occupation now) as well as continuing my education.
As my desire to teach grew, I worked as a teacher's assistant at a local elementary school for two years (2009-2011)working with Kindergarten and 5th and 6th grades-I loved it.
As a father of four, working with and teaching children is my true love. Over the last couple years, I decided to put my two specialties together and give art lessons to both children and adults and I must say, it has been very rewarding.
I work with and teach in several different mediums (pencil, pen&ink, painting) as well as styles (portraits, realism, cartooning, caricatures, etc.) depending on the needs of the student.
