Simply put, I am currently a professor of accounting, and business, full-time faculty at DeVry University and part-time/adjunct at Ivy Tech. I have been awarded for teaching and student commitment and have been teaching this course work for over 20 years. My main method of teaching has evolved over the years such that I now incorporate Microsoft Excel into the vast majority of my courses as this has become the most critical tool in the field and students simply must know how to use it. And then I focus on problem. Doing the problems, working them out, the only real way to learn this material is to do, and by working on problems together the students can gain the confidence to eventually work and succeed independently.
