I'm a sixth year Ph.D. student in Linguistics at Rice University, and I have spent eight months living in the francophone country of New Caledonia while conducting research for my dissertation. I'm fluent in French, and I have an undergraduate degree in French and Mathematics from St. Mary's College of Maryland. I have worked as a TA for a total of nine years, tutoring Linguistics for college students and Mathematics for middle school through college students. I'm patient, a good explainer, and I think learning should be fun!
I would be happy to tutor anyone from middle school to adults. My expertise is primarily in French, all K-12 math including calculus, and linguistics (including English grammar and ESL). I would also be glad to teach linguistic field work!
