I was a double major in college with a degree in biology, and am certified in elementary education with a middle school endorsement. I absolutely love teaching any type or level of science and even recently aided my boyfriend in studying for his TEAS test. I have a very high level of patience and an ability to break complex ideas down into easier to understand pieces. I am currently a waitress/bartender at a local restaurant but miss using my teaching skills. I continue to use those skills though at work when training new employees, running and organizing orientations, as well as providing a special bar basics class for new servers. I hope to start tutoring students soon because working with kids is something that I greatly enjoy doing.
